Job description

The business operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries centres' around the country, offering a broad range of cutting-edge imaging technology and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers and other organisations.
We are now seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our team in our ExpressCare - Northwood.
Responsibilities:
To deliver excellent patient-focused care
Responsible for the maintenance of a high standard of patient care which is achieved through professional education and development.
Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of Affidea patients
Maintaining appropriate and accurate written nursing records and reports.
To ensure adequate levels of ward stocks/supplies are maintained.
To ensure that the working environment is as safe and healthy as possible for patients/ staff.
To work within the team and assist colleagues as necessary
Ensure all Standards for the Prevention and Control of Healthcare Associated Infections, Hygiene Standards are implemented
Attend onsite or offsite continuous professional development session
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Degree in General nursing
Registered in the General division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
3 years + post-registration general nursing experience, ideally in an acute general hospital with exposure to Paediatric Emergency Nursing
Clinical experience in Primary Care/ Emergency Medicine is preferred

Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Must be computer literate
