We are now seeking an experienced Patient Admin/ Aide to join our team in Affidea - Dundrum
Job description

We are now seeking an experienced Patient Admin/ Aide to join our team in Affidea - Dundrum
Responsibilities:
Patient Administrator:
Ability to handle patient complaints or issues on a day-to-day basis
Ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to be able to deal with different tasks
Responsible for providing excellence in patient service through the efficient management of patients through the clinic.
Greeting and Registering patients on a day-to-day basis at the reception desk
Providing reassurance and information to patients regarding their treatment
Providing emotional and physical support to patients during treatment
Handling and resolving patient complaints in line with company guidelines
Performing any local administration tasks such as billing/claims/ lodgements etc
Where relevant providing films/cd’s and receipts to patients
Updating all records in an efficient, confidential manner with excellent attention to detail.
It is envisaged that the Patient Administrator would be competent and flexible to work both at the reception desk and in the treatment area if required. Generally, this would mainly relate to the MRI area where radiographers may need more assistance than other modalities.
Radiographer Aide:
Checking 3 key identifiers
Fully informing patients of scan process while escorting them from reception to scan area
Providing support to radiographer with probe /coil changes and assisting with taking patients on and off the scanner
Ensuring patient safety at all times
Communicating with all team members to ensure an efficient workflow and a positive and professional experience for the patient.
General upkeep of Ultrasound /MRI suite and maintaining JCI standards of Hygiene
Ordering and stock control of clinical supplies
General admin duties associated with updating and maintaining clear and precise documentation for each patient on RIS (Radiology Information System)
Job requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Leaving Certificate (UK Equivalent)
1 year + administration experience is essential
Excellent MS Office Skills
Desirable
FETAC Level 5 Care Assistant
FETAC with Radiographer Module complete
Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Fire Training Certificates
