We have 400 staff within our Irish clinics, where the business operates diagnostic imaging and minor injuries center's around the country, offering a broad range of cutting-edge imaging technology and healthcare services to the public, insurers, employers and other organisations.
We are now seeking an experienced CNM1 to join our team in Affidea - Cork. This is a full time position - 39 hours per week
Duties:
Responsible for the maintenance of a high standard of patient care which is achieved through professional education and development of all nursing staff,
Acting as an expert practitioner, participating in the formation of organisational objectives linking nursing with its goals, managing resources and facilitating communication.
Ensure that direct comprehensive nursing care to patients is evidence-based and will lead on service development initiatives in partnership with the Clinical Lead.
Adjust available staffing resources to ensure continuity of care.
Ensure the patient is cared for in a safe environment and hygiene standards are maintained.
Communicate and co-operate with the medical, nursing, radiography and multidisciplinary staff within the Expresscare and across the clinics.
Assist in scheduling of procedures in partnership with senior medical and radiography staff.
The CNM will directly manage Nursing staff in the clinic including rostering performance mgmt.
Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership

Co Ordination of Mandatory Training and records
Policy review, Policy Management and Policy Design
Ensure the completion of Clinical Audits and effective Incident Management to maintain and improve patient care standards.
Job requirements
Experience
Have at least 5 years post-registration general nursing experience most of which has been in an acute general hospital. two of which in Pediatric Emergency Nursing
Managerial experience in a healthcare setting (desired)
Post grad course (desired)
Have experience working with student nurses in clinical nursing practice or have training experience related to student nurses
Have demonstrable ability to analyse, report on, and effect change in nursing practice
Ability to think and plan strategically
Ability to relate effective and build productive relationships at all levels of a complex organisation
Ability to handle a diverse and challenging workload
Ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical solutions
Competencies
Must possess strong leadership qualities, communication skills and clinical skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
